This battery charger is designed for lead accumulators on petrol and diesel engines, motor cycles, boats etc. The charging current delivered by the battery decreases according to the characteristic W bend – see the DIN 41774 norm. The battery case has an IP20 protection rating against indirect contacts by an earth lead as specified for Class 1 equipment. Please ensure that the appropriate mains voltage is available before use and ensure that the plug has an earth connection.
